Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough manual testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your expertise will help drive improvements in our testing processes and methodologies, ultimately contributing to the success of our projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify defects and issues, ensuring a high level of quality.

• Test Case Development: Create and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements, ensuring thorough coverage of functionalities.

• Documentation and Reporting: Document test results meticulously and report defects using designated tools, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team.

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the development team to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues, facilitating effective communication throughout the testing process.

• Test Planning: Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to define testing objectives and scope.

• Test Documentation: Maintain and update test documentation, ensuring that all testing activities are accurately recorded and accessible.

• Regression and User Acceptance Testing: Assist in regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and the creation of test data to ensure application stability and performance.

• Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.

Skills and Requirements

1. Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

2. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in using testing tools for defect tracking and test management.

• Familiarity with various testing methodologies and processes (e.g., functional, regression, UAT).

3. Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an innovative mindset for identifying issues and suggesting improvements.

4. Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a proven track record of ensuring high-quality software products.
